Imran Bashir holds an M Sc. in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and serves on the editorial board of IEEE Blockchain. He is the author of several widely read books on blockchain technology. Active in the blockchain space since 2013, his background includes computer science, software engineering, information security, IT service management, cryptography, and systems design, with a strong emphasis on distributed systems, innovation and financial technology. His interests include blockchain scalability, zero-knowledge proofs, privacy-enhancing technologies, cross-chain interoperability, digital identity, protocol design, cryptography and emerging technologies.
