MinuteRead is a book summary platform—not a scraper, not a template farm. Every summary on this site and in the app is original writing produced by our editorial team. This page explains how we work so you know exactly what you're reading.
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Our summaries distill the ideas from nonfiction books into MinuteRead's own words. We never reproduce the book's prose, and we never pull text from other summary sites or AI training dumps. The preview on each book page is an excerpt of our complete summary—not a passage from the source book.
Summaries move through a draft → review → published workflow. A book page only becomes indexable in search once it clears minimum quality thresholds: a substantive preview, at least three key takeaways, book-specific FAQs, and a complete description. Incomplete entries stay out of search until an editor signs off.
We avoid title-swapped templates. Takeaways, FAQs, and "who should read this" sections are grounded in each book's actual ideas—not generic filler with the title swapped in. Topic and category pages use distinct editorial angles rather than reshuffled lists.
MinuteRead summaries are written and reviewed by our in-house editorial team—readers and writers with backgrounds in nonfiction, business, psychology, and personal development. We focus on clarity, accuracy of ideas, and practical takeaways you can apply.
Book cover images are used for identification and discovery. Cover art remains the property of publishers and authors. MinuteRead is not affiliated with or endorsed by book publishers unless explicitly stated.
Our summaries are designed to help you learn key ideas quickly and decide whether to read the full book. They are for educational and informational purposes—not a replacement for reading the complete work or for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
If you spot a factual error or have feedback about a summary, contact us at support@thetwocoders.com. We review every report and update summaries when corrections are warranted.
