Katherine Wilson writes practical books about the things that make life with other people easier—how to talk to them, how to get along with them, and how to hold your own when you need to. Her first book, How to Talk to People: A Practical Guide, came out of years of paying close attention to what actually works in conversation, not just what sounds good in theory. She also writes The Confident Teen Series, which takes the same plain, no-nonsense approach to the social skills teenagers use every single day—and are almost never taught. Years of travel and a lot of conversations with people from very different backgrounds shaped how she writes: clearly, without jargon, and always with something you can actually use. She lives in Portland with her family and their rescue dog, Luna. For updates and free guides, sign up to her newsletter—the link is in the back of her books.
