Excuses are the silent killers of all your dreams. You’ve heard it before: if only I had more money, or if only I had more time, or if only I was prettier/stronger/smarter/more creative/whatever. If only the world were different, then you could move on with your dreams and follow your purpose.
You can’t let any of that stop you from being successful. Success is not something that happens in a vacuum—it’s an ever-changing process that has to do with the choices you make every day. It’s about who you are and what you stand for. No matter what anyone else thinks or says about it, which brings us to the second point.
Know your values well before anything else. You have to define your values—what matters most to you—and then work towards them daily. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! For example, if you envision a life full of travels, don’t let the world tell you that you need to work a 9-5 and stay in the same city.

You know the saying: one bad apple can spoil an entire batch! Well, that applies to relationships as well. While positive, supportive people will lift you up, toxic friends can be detrimental to your dreams. When you learn to let go of them, you can focus on getting out of your comfort zone. That’s another essential aspect to master in your quest for success. If you don’t take a risks, you’ll be stuck in the mediocrity stage of your life forever.
