Samson only respected God's boundaries when it suited him. Boundaries protect us. Like a fence that keeps us from falling off a cliff, boundaries in life are designed to keep us safe and on track. However, strong men often view boundaries as unnecessary restrictions on their freedom and power. Consequences of disregarding boundaries: Damaged relationships Loss of trust and respect Legal troubles Moral and spiritual decline To avoid these pitfalls, strong men must: Remember the joy of living within God's boundaries Renounce activities that have lured them outside those boundaries Rebuild fences they've trampled Rejoice in God's mercy and grace

When you throw reason to the wind and act solely according to the impulses of your flesh, you become no different than your dog or the old tomcat that prowls the alley behind your house. Lust clouds judgment. Strong men are often considered attractive due to their power and influence, making them more susceptible to sexual temptation. This can lead to a dangerous cycle of poor decision-making and compromised integrity. Lust causes a person to: Ignore spiritual considerations Disregard God's plan for their life Risk everything for momentary pleasure To overcome lust: Get right with God through confession and repentance Get away from tempting situations and influences Get help through accountability relationships Get busy with meaningful activities that occupy time and energy

Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Humility leads to wisdom. Strong men often struggle with pride, making it difficult for them to accept advice from others. This can lead to costly mistakes and missed opportunities for growth and success. To benefit from good advice: Listen to people who disagree with you Listen to people who love you Listen to people who have achieved the success you desire Listen to people who demonstrate wisdom Listen to people who know and love God's Word Effective listening involves: Reserving judgment Resisting the urge to interrupt Remaining calm Reviewing for clarification Reflecting on the advice Receiving or rejecting the advice thoughtfully
