Zig Ziglar spent decades standing on stages around the world, making people laugh, think, and believe in their own potential. His name became synonymous with motivation, his voice instantly recognizable, his stories legendary. But before the stages, before the bestselling books, before the millions of lives touched, there was a boy in Yazoo City, Mississippi, who had every reason to believe the world had already decided his fate. He was the tenth of twelve children born to John Silas Ziglar and Lila Wescott Ziglar. The family struggled constantly. He drifted through various jobs, searching for his place in the world. He sold pots and pans door to door. He worked in insurance. He tried multilevel marketing. Some ventures succeeded. Many failed. The turning point came when he discovered the world…
